(Summary)

There is a close relation between the fast development of the urbanizing process and the expansion of commuting in Bulgaria. A close correlative dependence exists between commuting intensity and the development of the demographic processes in the towns and villages it comes from. The existence of an territory creates preconditions for further expansion of commuting.
