Summary

Mutual relations between production and services can be clearly observed at places, where productive activities of population are concentrated, such as industrial concentrations of different ranks, centres of traffic connections, big national objects of construction.

Our practice of building big national objects has shown by now, that civil construction is often in a disadvantage to industrial construction.

In relation to the construction and exploitation of the copper ore-dressing combine of Assarel, a number of problems have to be solved, such as: provision of working power, qualification of specialists, construction of houses, schools, sports grounds, cultural institutions, organization of commutation, improvement of the transport network, etc. That is why the social program of the Panagjurishte settlement system is related to the needs of the copper ore-dressing combine of Assarel.

A problem of particular importance is the transport access to the object and its connection with the national transport system. In this relation the author supports the idea of creation of а new railway line — Panagjurishte — Mirkovo. This line will carry out important productive (transportation of copper concentrate and constructive materials) and a number of basic economic functions.

The exploitation of the Assarel copper ore deposit is in a direct relation to the protection of natural environment.
