ECONOMIC-GEOGRAPHIC INVESTIGATION OF DEMOGRAPHIC INDICES AS A BASIS OF TOWN-PLANNING OF RESIDENTIAL ZONES AND COMPLEXES

The present article considers the necessity of extensive economic-geographic research of the population’s conditions as well as demographic indices used in the process of planning of residential zones and complexes.

There have been indicated the decisive indices used for the definition of the dimensions of residential areas complex services buildings, greens, sport areas, private parking areas, etc. A great disadvantge of the existing practice considered to be the lack of data fon the family and sex-age structure of the inhabitants, needed for the definition of the necessity of different kinds of residences as well as social structure concerning the dimensions of cultural and educational-institues and offices, sport facilities and recreational zones.
