Abstract

This paper presents practical importance of space-time models and creation methods in GIS environment. It contains definitions of basic concepts, specifics of time-space modeling, someapproaches for modeling time and methods for integrations time-space models in GIS.Practical importance of space-time models is presented by sixexamples in two categories: study of natural factors and elements and study of socio-economic factors and elements.
