ECONOMIC-GEOGRAPHICAL PROBLEMS OF THE TERRITORIAL ORGANIZATION OF THE FOOD COMPLEXES IN THE NORTH-EASTERN SOCIAL-ECONOMIC REGION

Summary

The food complex (FC) of the region is a part of its AIC (agrarian-industrial complex) and is a system of productive-technological, economic and other relations developing between the cyclies of production, industrial processing and the realization of agricultural foodstuffs.

Eight interspecialised food sub-complexex have been established by means of the PPC (power productive cycle) – IAC (industrial-agrarian cycle) method of N. N. Kollossovsky. They are based on closed cycles: plant-growing – industrial, stock-breeding – industrial and agrarian – industrial.

The interspecialysed food sub-complexes are comprehended as forms of territorial organization of the agrarian-industrial integration. Recommendations have been made concerning the improvement of the territorial organization of the agricultural, the industrial and the commercial links of the food complex. The FC is suggested to be an independent system of planning which will improve its management.
